Build your empire in the world of ants by building grandiose anthills and complex hierarchy systems in this microscopic real-time strategy game. Control different types of warrior ants in fierce battles while workers build a nest and extract resources to expand the base, and at all costs protect your queen among all the threats and opportunities of the insect world. Hundreds of warriors clashed in battle. The gnashing of mandibles is accompanied by volleys of formic acid. As night falls, workers rush back underground, dodging beetle attacks to deliver food to the nest. Supplies have been depleted, and if they are not replenished, new soldiers will not hatch for the ongoing war between the empires of the undergrowth. Under your control, workers will build and improve the nest — starting from the central chambers of the queen and continuing through an extensive network of storages, nurseries and corridors. Explore the entire map, consisting of hexagonal earth and rock cells, in search of food, but beware of the underground inhabitants. The outside world outside the nest is also rich in resources: seeds, nectar, mushrooms, other insects, and even amphibians are on the menu today. There is a lot of choice, but each food source has its own problems and difficulties. Are you ready to protect your aphid farm from ladybug raids, or do nocturnal predators pose too great a danger to an immature colony? Every decision you make will have irreversible consequences that can lead to the death of the colony if you are not able to react quickly enough to changing circumstances. Use different types of ants with different types of attacks, abilities and development options to adapt to the difficulties of a particular biome. Night trips are sometimes necessary to replenish food supplies, but careless ants are threatened by numerous dangers lurking in the dark. After sunrise, you will have to fight off other ant colonies, invade other people´s nests to get to the queen, and protect your own queen. Be ready to coordinate combat operations on several underground and aboveground maps with constant changes in the situation – there is no single path to victory. Ants flock to the nest from the surface. Not all of them have returned, but those who have succeeded bring with them valuable food resources that will help strengthen the front with new forces of young soldiers from the nursery, following pheromone tags and performing various tasks along the way. They are the last pillar of the colony, born with one goal: to hold the front line! Plan and equip several nursery rooms, each of which will be linked to its own pheromone group, which can be instructed using pheromone tags, rules of engagement and other mechanisms. The ability to control the behavior of ants and an understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of each species are key success factors. The specialization of each pheromone group can be easily changed by ordering the group to engage only in food gathering or only in combat, or combine both of these tasks — in the heat of battle, such an order can be decisive. In difficult times, when the colony is starving and new ants have stopped hatching from eggs, will your soldiers collect food, at risk of a surprise attack? Or will they accompany groups of workers, preferring their safety to efficiency?
