The action of Combat Mission Red Thunder - Battle Pack 1 takes place around the same time as the Soviet attacks took place in eastern Poland in the late summer of 1944. The battle pack includes two new campaigns, 13 separate scenarios and 13 new main maps. Features: The "Five Days of One Schumer" campaign: This is a campaign of six missions (up to four possible offshoots, including a total of thirteen missions), in which II./SS-Pz.Rgt. 5 and III "Germany", which were part of the Muhlenkamp combat group, covered a period of intense fighting in eastern Poland to prevent the advance of Soviet advanced units 2- of the Belorussian Front to the west during the week from July 16 to July 22, 1944.
