A beautifully presented adventure with full-fledged voice acting. You struggle to stay awake during the evening train ride home from work until sleep finally overcomes you… Oh no! You still missed your stop. In a panic, you jump off at the next station and try to get your bearings. Unfortunately, it turns out to be more difficult to figure out exactly where you are than you thought. The people you encounter here are strange, and although they consider themselves useful in their own way, they don´t help you much to find your way back home. The air here is thick and strange, and something inaccessible to your senses - something ethereal and omnipotent –is watching your every move from the sky. GRUNND is a unique approach to the "point—and-click" genre with platformer-like levels, fast movements between locations and branched events with multiple choices that the player will begin to make from the very beginning of his journey. GRUNND is more interested in making you think about complex plot twists than overly complicated puzzles. Of course, you will encounter problems that need to be solved and overcome, but they will be related to your interactions with the various characters you will meet along the way. GRUNND´s rich story certainly revolves around you as the main character, but equally it sheds light on the world around you and the stories of its sometimes strange inhabitants. The game world is inspired by the works of Franz Kafka and David Lynch, and the setting brings a touch of southern Gothic and black metal to the style of the game.
