Mai Toyama tries to escape her traumatic past. She enters Wordsworth, a girls´ hostel located in the small mountain town of Le Choara, where her sister Sanae is rumored to have been last seen. Filled with hope, May sets out in search of her relatives, but soon stumbles upon terrifying inhabitants who roam throughout the city after dark. At night, the streets of Le Choara are filled with the Shadow Matter, a terrifying group of menacing creatures. Around every corner, May discovers that her hope of finding her sister lies behind long-buried secrets that haunt Le Choara.
Overkill Reaps Huge Rewards – The Overkill System is an optional feature where characters can accumulate damage beyond an enemy´s health for extra experience! Try to deal as much damage as possible to all monsters to get a big reward.
Beware of the berserker - while exploring dungeons and fighting, a faceless black figure will appear out of nowhere. Once the figure appears, it will also show the attack area. May and her squad should move away from Berserker´s attack range, as he will instantly kill anyone with one blow. Escape from the Berserker into the dungeon or defeat all existing monsters on the battlefield to escape!
Day and Night - Mai will need to explore the town of Le Choara during the day and talk to the townspeople to find clues about where her sister is. At night, Mai will fight her way through dark creatures stylized as a turn-based RPG. Experience history through the lens of a visual novel by day, and battle terrifying creatures by night!
Don´t call it a knockdown - the knockdown system is back in Death end re; Quest 2, but this time May and her team can hit Shadow Matter even harder! Combine your attacks by throwing monsters at other party members!
