Felix works in the Ministry of Death, and his beloved, Virgo Betty, works in the Ministry of Life. Felix hopes that, once in the human world under the guise of the Grim Reaper, he will definitely meet her. And now Felix´s task is to condemn people to death. And in order to conquer the love of his (not) life, he learns to dance. Since Felix can only move in the shadows, he needs to carefully make his way through a mysterious world. Fortunately, Felix, like other reapers, is able to control the sun and change the angle of the shadow. So, along the dark paths, he moves in the world of the living. Felix is forced to solve puzzles so that people die. After all, everything should go according to the Ministry´s plans. Each new level can also be completed at a higher difficulty. A great option for a hardcore careerist. And also collect achievements-skulls and unlock time tasks that only the most ambitious ministerial employees can do. We decided to create Felix The Reaper because we admire the ubiquitous image of death in art, often funny and grotesque. Many motifs related to death originate in culture, such as the Dance of Death or Death and the Virgin. We combined these two motifs, and that´s how Felix The Reaper appeared. When inventing the character and his world, we were inspired by various sources: the old TV series "The Twilight Zone", the works of medieval artists Brueghel and Bosch, cartoon characters "Adventure Time" and Hayao Miyazaki. Felix The Reaper was also strongly influenced by the collaboration of various artists involved in the creation of the game. We collaborated with dancers, a huge number of musicians and historians. Dancing Several dancers took part in the creation of the game. The movements included in the game are the fruit of improvisation by Gunilla Lind and Rafael Ferdinand Eder-Casting. Music Of course, a hero who dances needs great music — otherwise why dance? The game is designed in such a way that the musicians are given complete freedom. They didn´t have any definite framework. We wanted them to enrich the game with their own vision. So we have a very diverse and unusual selection of musical works. Since puzzles don´t fit anywhere, you have time to listen and appreciate this strange music. The idea of the game is inspired by the history of art. We took as a basis the motifs of the Dance of Death and Death and Virgo and asked ourselves: how to make a game out of them? So, after trying different ideas, we came to this option. For his book, one historian studies what the image of death has been in art for more than ten centuries. While we were working, he would let us know if he found anything interesting, and we tried to use it in the game whenever possible.
