20 years after the release of the 8-bit classic, Bionic Commando Rearmed recreates the world of the original in 2.5 dimensions. Bionic Commando Rearmed retains the original blend of swinging, shooting and intense 2D arcade action, and is spiced up with an all-new soundtrack inspired by the 8-bit music of the original NES masterpiece.
But Rearmed isn´t just your average remake - it brings new features like two-person co-op, smart AI, new bionic arm capabilities, new weapons, big bosses and online leaderboards. Like the NES game, Bionic Commando Rearmed follows Nathan´s first mission, "R.A.D." Spencer, sent to rescue agent Super Joe from Imperial captivity.
Fans of the original story will be able to see all the characters from the NES version, as well as the memorable moments that made the game so popular. Rearmed is directly related to its "big brother" in the overall plot, unlockable items and tips.
