Description
Beware of the waters, they are fraught with a mysterious and terrifying threat. Death, the ancient Kraken Leviathan haunts your every move in this intense underwater survival horror game. Fight to survive using powerful weapons and upgrades as you explore the beautiful yet treacherous underwater world.
Game process
Death in the Water 2 is a wave-based shooter at its core, but combines elements of horror and suspense with breathtaking adrenaline-fuelled action.
Each dive (wave) usually starts with an exploration element where the pace is a bit slower and gives you the opportunity to find treasures and other collectibles as well as get your bearings. At this point, tension builds as you explore ruins, wrecks, and reefs. Sharks and creatures are passive and may not always attack you unless provoked, just like real sharks.
At any stage during the dive, Death (Kraken) launches a mind control attack on all creatures and a feeding frenzy begins and you are the main target. You will need to survive and complete the dive challenge before moving on to the next wave. As you move on to the next dive, the difficulty increases and things get even crazier. The combination of tension and action makes it incredibly addictive as you explore the open world map.

Your arsenal will have access to weapons and equipment that you can unlock and upgrade. These include Chum grenades, powerful sniper rifles, and shotguns.
About the development team
We are two friends Neil (artist) and Edward (programmer), we started making games as a hobby at school. Thirteen years ago we quit our day job to found Lighthouse Games Studio and released some of the best selling games including Shark Attack Deathmatch, Comedy Night, Avatar Deathmatch and many more.
