Description
IXION combines city building, survival and exploration into an immersive space opera that takes you on a journey through the stars. You have embarked on a perilous journey as the administrator of the Tiqqun space station and are tasked with finding a new home for humanity after the Earth is no longer able to function.
Keeping the station operational and managing its flight will require skill and strategic thinking as you must simultaneously ensure the integrity of the ship, find new resources and manage energy consumption.
What choice will you make in the face of impending disaster? What will you find in the dark?
The people to be managed do not consist of a disciplined crew, not all have been awake since launch, some have just emerged from the cryochamber... Maintain confidence in the corporation that started this venture, or fail and mutiny will break out on board. Six sectors can be unlocked at the station, each of which is capable of accommodating more people, creating new jobs, providing opportunities for monitoring the crew using a data listening service. Will you bring hope to people?
Who said that you are the only ones who managed to escape the fatal fate of the Earth? Face off against other groups of survivors, avoid misfortune and the wreckage of other ships... In IXION, the player will navigate through exciting chapters of the story that contain new threats and opportunities, all of which will help them reach their final destination, a new home.
DOLOS are famous for their innovative technologies, their scientists, but now Tiqqun is cut off from the whole world. Find what resources you can use, explore what you don´t have. Find new ways to create your settlement, build the new buildings you need. Modify the Tiqqun station, improve it, move forward in this odyssey.
Space is a dangerous place. Hull breaches, overloaded power supplies, electrical appliances on fire... You must manage these risks, deal with emergencies, create technology for backup power, and make spacewalk decisions...
There are brand new star maps that have yet to be explored. Send out probes to reveal what is hidden, build mining and cargo ships to find resources and trade, book scientific expeditions to uncover the secrets and threats you discover in space. Meet other survivors and use them in your mission, remember that your goal is to survive.
