Description
Theodoric von Ackenburg, a former crusader knight, is tired of the cruelties of war, but the events of the recent past again force him to take up his sword. Fifteen years ago, Theodoric and his brother-in-arms Ulrich von Grevel accidentally stumbled upon a piece of Aaron´s rod, an ancient artifact too powerful for mere mortals. Now the young monk Malcolm has come to tell Theodoric that Ulrich is on fire with the idea of finding the rest of the relic, and this will bring evil and untold suffering to the world.
Theodoric decides to get ahead of Ulrich and collect the missing fragments. A long journey awaits him across Europe and the Middle East. Other warriors will rise under his banner, from the elderly Teutonic veteran Reinhard von Kempten to the ambitious young mercenary Grimhilda Eidottir and her band of Ravens. Each of them will have their own reasons to join you, but little by little the fraternal bonds between you will become stronger so that any obstacles and trials will be on your shoulder.

Choose your hero units and support units in 15 exciting, carefully crafted single-player missions, each with their own cutscenes, diaries, difficulty levels and more.
Hero squads of 5 or more fighters, each with 3 different skill trees, provide the player with a rich selection of active and passive skills to power up heroes.
As you progress, you will find new weapons and armor that differ in parameters and special abilities.
Combine hero skills with weapons and equipment to suit your play style.
Play with friends in 3-player co-op Survival mode: fight off hordes of enemies and earn experience to power up your knights, unlock new skills and adornments.
Compete in a variety of PvP modes, engaging in 1v1 or 2v2 duels with cosmetic meta progression and special rewards for victories in ranked matches.
