The game takes place during the Second World War. You have to take part in dynamic and intense infantry battles, cracking down on waves of enemies. The role-playing system of the game is based on character classes, each of which can be customized and equipment improved.
Day of Infamy features three multiplayer modes, three cooperative modes, three factions, six cards, twenty types of weapons, and much more.
FIGHT IN A BROKEN WAR EUROPE
• You are waiting for extreme gameplay with an emphasis on teamwork, deadly shootouts and nine specialized game classes
• Take positions, destroy enemy equipment, eliminate enemy officers and advance your troops forward in 7 game modes of playing against each other and 3 modes of joint play against the computer
• Fight on fortified bridgeheads, in war-torn villages, destroyed cities and snowy forests: you will find 14 levels based on real battles of the Second World War in Europe
• Voice over IP (VOIP) communication, which can be heard by nearby friendly players and opponents, as well as VOIP communications in a wider range via portable radio backpacks
USE AUTHENTIC EQUIPMENT
• More than 60 types of weapons: from Thompson submachine guns to PIAT grenade launchers, flamethrowers and FG-42 automatic rifles
• Modifications for weapons: bayonets, grenade launchers, clips, extended stores, weapon belts, covers and much more
• Join forces with your comrades and request artillery and smoke support, incendiary shells, carpet bombing, support for diving Junkers, rocket attacks from Typhoons, machine gun shells from P-47 fighters and throwing supplies
UNLOCK NEW TYPES OF TROOPS
• Get promotions and unlock 33 US Army, British Commonwealth and Wehrmacht military units, such as the 101st Airborne Division, 2nd Special Purpose Battalion and 1st Fallschirmjäger Division
