The Bible consists of two parts: the Old Testament and the New Testament. 240 illustrations of an engraving on the tree of Julius Schnorr von Karolsfeld with biblical texts on the Synodal translation. Karolsfeld Julius (1794-1872) - German painter and a graphic of the academic direction. His father and brothers were also artists. He studied in Vienna, worked in Italy, then in Germany. In the years 1846-71. Was a professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Dresden and director of the Dresden Picture Gallery.
